Welcome to the fantastic month of November!?!

Yes, November is fun with the beginning of the holidays, and whimsical because we are never sure of the weather
and joys this holiday season will bring. November is amazing in the way we focus our thanks to God for who He is,
what He has done for us and the many blessings He has given to us. However, November can be over-looked because
it is a month full of preparations and anticipations of what is to come. As well, November is a busy month
with schools intensifying their studies as they prepare for the end of a semester or the upcoming holiday break. November
seems to fly by as we get on with projects and preparations.

Psalm 95
1 Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord;
    let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation.
2 Let us come before him with thanksgiving
    and extol him with music and song.
3 For the Lord is the great God,
    the great King above all gods.
4 In his hand are the depths of the earth,
    and the mountain peaks belong to him.
5 The sea is his, for he made it,
    and his hands formed the dry land.
6 Come, let us bow down in worship,
    let us kneel before the Lord our Maker;
7 for he is our God
    and we are the people of his pasture,
    the flock under his care.

Yet, November is a wonderful month where we can stop…and reflect on how great God is and appreciate Him.

Thanksgiving is a wonderful event of thankfulness, as it should be. But it also is wonderful for other reasons, I know
a bunch of people who have November birthdays and anniversaries, and there are fantastic festivals, galas, and
parties as well as a month to be more introspective and thank the Lord for who He is, what He has done in our
lives, and how He has given us opportunity to thrive as followers of Jesus.

Psalm 100 - A psalm. For giving grateful praise.
1 Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth.
2   Worship the Lord with gladness;
    come before him with joyful songs.
3 Know that the Lord is God.
    It is he who made us, and we are his[a];
    we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving
    and his courts with praise;
    give thanks to him and praise his name.
5 For the Lord is good and his love endures forever;
    his faithfulness continues through all generations.
