THIS IS KERRY

Kerry may be one of the first people you meet when you walk through our doors! He loves to welcome people into our church family and help people get connected into deeper community. Kerry oversees our Guest Services teams (Greeters, Ushers, Refreshments, Security, Library, Hosts, SetupCrew, Parking, and print media teams). He also directs our church's spiritual formation by overseeing Life Groups and other studies, Men's and Women's Ministries, our Prayer Team, as well as our Adult Elective courses, including Membership. Kerry loves seeing people grow with God and together with each other here at Neighborhood Church!

Kerry enjoys cycling, hiking, kayaking, camping, and just about anything that gets him outdoors in God’s grand creation. He loves photography, videography, and almost any kind of ethnic food he can get his hands on.

Kerry is originally from the East Bay Area, and first came to Southern California to attend Biola University. After obtaining a Bachelors in Biblical Studies and Theology with a minor in Christian Education, Kerry served in pastoral roles in various local churches while living in Long Beach, CA. Kerry and Emily were happily married in 2012. In 2017, they gave birth to their first adopted son Ethan, just before Kerry finished his Masters of Divinity at Talbot School of Theology.

Kerry and Emily first came to Neighborhood Church for a seminary internship in 2016, and were delighted to accept a full time pastoral position here in 2017.
